Sansoro Health Announces Close of Seed Investment Round

Funding enables new product development and talent acquisition to advance company’s pioneering EMR integration software

Minneapolis – July 25, 2016 – Sansoro Health, a healthcare technology company offering integration software for electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, today announces that it closed a seed investment round of $1.2 million led by San Francisco-based investor Healthy Ventures, with additional funds coming from TreeHouse Health and angel investors.

“The seamless clinical data exchange between EMR platforms and digital health vendors is critically important to achieving better health outcomes,” said Anya Schiess, general partner, Healthy Ventures. “Sansoro Health’s real-time integration software bridges the gap to improve patient care.”

Sansoro Health revolutionizes digital health with its core software product, Emissary™. Its scalable and secure approach enables innovative solutions, such as the integrated display of a patient’s charts from multiple EMRs, real-time clinical analytics, and full-featured web portals and mobile apps.

Closing this oversubscribed round signals Sansoro Health’s strength as a leading EMR integration solution provider. The company will use the investment to enhance its open API software, expand its team, and further develop its marketing and sales capabilities.

The investment capitalizes on the company’s momentum in 2016. Sansoro Health won the 10th annual Venture+ Forum competition for startup companies as part of the 2016 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Conference. The company was also selected by Healthcare Informatics as one of only six national “Up and Comers 2016.”

“We are proud to have the support of investors like Healthy Ventures who share our vision for EMR integration,” said Jeremy Edes Pierotti, CEO of Sansoro Health. “We’ve had strong revenue since inception, which enabled us to bootstrap our development. This funding will allow us to further empower innovation by providers, payers, and digital health pioneers.”
