The Sansoro team is made up of experienced professionals from across the healthcare industry passionate about improving healthcare IT systems. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, we are working every day to bring EMR interoperability to health systems across the country.
Sansoro's Executive Team
Jeremy Edes Pierotti, Chief Executive Officer - Jeremy brings a track record of creative thinking and disciplined execution to solve complex healthcare problems. Before co-founding Sansoro Health, Jeremy served as CIO for Leidos Health, one of the country's largest healthcare IT consulting practices. From 2002 to 2011, as a Principal and Owner of Validus Consulting, he and his partners grew Validus from 3 employees to over $14 million total revenue. During that time, Jeremy led successful electronic medical record programs for Stanford Health, Tampa General Hospital, and Allina Health, among others. Active in his community, Jeremy serves on the boards of MinnPost and the Chamber Music Society of Minnesota. He received his MBA and MHA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and his BA from Brown University.
David Levin, MD, Chief Medical Officer - David Levin, MD is a physician executive with over 25 years of experience in healthcare information systems, clinical operations and enterprise strategic planning. Prior to joining Sansoro, he served as Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) for the Cleveland Clinic Health System (CCHS), where he led the Clinical Systems Office. Dr. Levin has founded several healthcare IT startups and served as an advisor to many more. He is a nationally recognized speaker and has appeared in academic, industry and consumer media. He currently serves on multiple industry and venture capital advisory boards and non-profit governance boards. Dr. Levin received his MD and his BA from Brown University.
John Orosco, Chief Technology Officer - John has experience establishing and growing healthcare organizations with a focus on software development and clinical integration initiatives. John worked at Cerner Corporation for 9 years as a software developer, software project manager and 3rd party vendor channel manager. After his time at Cerner, John co-founded JASE Health, a consulting firm that provides custom development and professional services to health systems that utilize Cerner Millennium®. John has previously served on the Advisory Group for the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Functional Interoperability & Health Information Exchange. John joined Telligen and held the role of Healthcare Information Technology Solutions Architect helping the Iowa Health IT Regional Extension Center with EHR implementation and integration challenges. John also participated as a member of Iowa e-Health which is a public private collaborative focused on improving healthcare quality through the Iowa Health Information Network (IHIN). John's deep knowledge of electronic health record systems and interoperability challenges were the foundation for Sansoro's Emissary application. John earned his B.S. in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University.
Mike Pietig, Chief Operating Officer - Mike has used his leadership, management, and operations experience to develop emerging technology companies and implement integrated systems for large and small healthcare organizations. Before Sansoro Health, Mike was Vice President of Solutions Strategy and Marketing at Leidos Health, where he led the development of the professional services organization and go to market strategy. Previously he was as a Principal and Owner of Validus Consulting. Throughout his career, Mike has skillfully leveraged his more than 15 years of healthcare and start-up experience to become a trusted partner and advisor on behalf of such notable clients as Cleveland Clinic Health System, Allina Health, and the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Mike is a member of HIMSS and is actively involved with the Twin Cities chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Mike earned his BA from St. Cloud State University.
